As the holidays approach it is time to start thinking about what gifts you want to give to your loved ones, friends, coworkers, etc. Over the last couple years gift cards have been at the top of everyone’s mind. The popularity of gift cards surged in 2006 and 2007.

My thoughts on the huge increases…convenience! What is easier…clamoring through the hoards of rude shoppers to find the perfect gift OR grabbing a gift card and letting your recipient get a gift they really want on THEIR time, not yours. My vote is gift card all the way.
